EMAIL PROOF: SXM GOVERNMENT ONLY ACKNOWLEDGE CHINESE AND INDIAN DEATH! BUT IGNORE THE HORRIFIC TREATMENT AND KILLING OF LOCALS!

Subject: Public meeting in Dutch Quarter

    Hi folks,

Our first public meeting tommorow is in Dutch Quarter.

some way or the other we must take into account that Dutch Quarter (actually whole St. Maarten)
is in mourning after the senseless killing of Eric.
I dont know how we should do this. Maybe we should choose not to put the music to loud.
Maybe we should start with placing a wreath at
the supermarket before going to the public meeting. (but then again some people might say its only politics).
     Maybe we should ask Fannie
(or anyone else of the family) how they would feel about this.

Like I said….I dont know how but we have to take this tradegy into account.

I knew Eric and am still shook up by the happening.

Just a few days before he handed me 2 bottles of champaign so I can open my new year in style….

I agree that we must take this horrific occurrence into account. But please give us some direct indications of what exactly you would want to see: How do we make a public meeting more sober?
How do you propose we show solidarity (without making it political)? To make it shorter is easier, but will in the public’s mind this be correlated with Eric’s death?
How do we get this connection
across to the public? Should we cancel the District Band for this particular meeting? Do you think we should contact Fannie?

We need to put concrete actions in place, so we have no regrets afterwards.

    An announced minute of silence. Immediate departure from the area after the meeting;
a card message to the Chinese community. A visit to the family by you and me.

PS there is nothing that we will say or do that if others want to attack will not be labeled as political by them.

I agree with the minute silence, the card message (who is the President of the Chinese Community?) and the visit to the family (when?).
I will go see Afoo’s brother here in Cole Bay at Daily Extra and get some of the information needed so I can get back to you. How about the DISTRICT Band? Do we maintain them for the Dutch Quarter meeting?

IF YOU’RE GOING TO PROTEST SXM CABLE, PROTEST THE FACT THAT THEIR EQUIPMENT WAS OBSOLETE IN THE ’80’S!!!

On the cover of the Daily Herald, I see that people are finally questioning our SXM cable TV,’

which is truly a joke. They haven’t changed those boxes since “Dirty Dancing” debuted sometime in 1987-1988.

I know that in 2008, in the USA, analog officially became obsolete.

Every hour there was a public service announcement saying, that you had to digitalize, you had to upgrade, analog was dead.

Now I don’t expect SXM to be up to par with the USA, but anyone who has lived in a “civilized” country will tell you that the illegal, and pirated cable that you pay for sucks!

Never in my life have I paid for Cable and certain channels, only to find out that ST MAARTEN CABLE HASN’T PAID IT’S BILL, SO THE CHANNEL IS CUT OFF! OR YOU ARE PAYING FOR CHANNELS THAT SXM CABLE ARE GETTING THROUGH LESS THAN QUITE HONEST MEANS, BECAUSE HOW CAN YOU CHARGE SOMEONE FOR VIEWING A CHANNEL, WHEN YOU HAVEN’T PAID FOR IN???

    ONLY IN SXM!

I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused you!

My basic thought was of making the meeting turn into a draft of something that I could present
right away instead of going to the lawyer and trying to explain what we discussed.
I have been attempting to squeeze a month work in a week time and have not been successful, as you could see by the confusion.
Peggy Ann received your letter, and sent it already.
I believe that if we try hard something may come of this meeting in a concrete form.

IN THE ARTICLES, WHAT WE HAVE TO TRY IS DEAL WITH ONE SUBJECT IN A SIMPIFIED MANNER.
MR.RICHARDSON’S ARTICLE WHILE GOOD “PROSA” , A BIT COMPLEX FOR THE TARGET GROUP. I HAVE TRIED TO SIMPLIFY IT FOR THE COMMON FOLK.

    THE CONSTITUTION OF ST.MAARTEN.
    IT PROTECTS ALL CITIZENS.

THE CONSTITUTION IS THE HIGHEST SET OF LAWS OF ANY COUNTRY, THE LAWS TO WHICH ALL PERSONS MUST ABIDE:GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND CITIZENS ALIKE.
THE CONSTITUTION GUARANTEES THE BASIC RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OF ALL INDIVIDUALS.
IN THE FIRST PLACE THE BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS ARE ESTABLISHED IN, AND PROTECTED BY THIS DOCUMENT. THESE RIGHTS ARE AMONG OTHERS: FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF THE PRESS,
FREEDOM OF RELIGION, THE RIGHT TO EQUAL TREATMENT, THE PROHIBITION OF DISCRIMINATION, PROHIBITION OF SLAVERY AND FORCED LABOUR, THE PROTECTION OF THE INTEGRITY OF THE HUMAN BODY,THE PROHIBITION OF TORTURE,THE RIGHT TO VOTE, THE FREEDOM OF RELIGION AND CONSCIENCE, THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF MAIL ETC, ETC.
DUE TO THE FACT THAT MOST BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS ARE ALSO PROTECTED BY INTERNATIONAL TREATIES(AGREEMENTS), GOVERNMENTS OF COUNTRIES WITHIN THE KINGDOM MAY NOT MAKE LAWS THAT ARE IN CONFLICT WITH THESE RIGHTS.

FURHTER MORE A CONSTITUTION  REGULATES  THE EVERYDAY OPERATION OF GOVERNMENT,
BASIC RULES AND PRINCIPLES OF GOVERNING.
SIMPLY PUT : THE TERM CONSTITUTION REFERS TO A SET OF RULES AND PRINCIPLES BY WHICH A COUNTRY IS GOVERNED.ABOVE ALL THE CONSTITUTION IS DESIGNED TO PROTECT THE INDIVIDUAL.

IN OUR CONSTITUTION WE ALSO HAVE WHAT IS CALLED:SEPERATION OF POWERS.
OUR GOVERNMENT WHICH IS RULED BY OUR CONSTITUTION HAS 3 SEPERATE AND INDEPENDENT
    BRANCHES:
-1-THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH,BEING OUR ISLAND COUNCIL WITH 11 ISLANDCOUNCIL MEMBERS  IS

THESE 3 BRANCHES MUST OPERATE INDEPENDENT OF EACH OTHER, AND CAN NOT REPLACE EACH OTHER AT NO TIME ABSOLUTELY.

IN ADDITION ITS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT ALL LAWS ON, ST.MAARTEN, ARUBA, NETHERLAND ANTILLES AND  HOLLAND MUST BE IN LINE WITH THE KINGDOM CONSTITUTION.
ANY LAWS PASSED WITHIN THE KINGDOM WHICH CONTRADICT THE CONSTITUTION  CAN BE DECLARED UNCONSTITUTIONAL  BY A HIGH COURT.

maria buncamper versus louiose laveist. is it colour or class????

some are now rejoicing with the fall of comm. luise lavesit.from all indications i dont think maria buncamper is crying.after all it is said that she is friends with the prosecutor(s), with whom she had talks with over dinner about the “man of action”.the question in the public’s mind and mouth is why louise and not maria buncamper molanus
prosecutor as a citizen i see wrong as wrong and right as right. This no matter colour, race or religion.Maria is involved in a blatant conflict of intrest and still refuses to risign.Look at chicago politicians…..The motive is clear. This stands to benefit herself, her husband and her friends. There are so many rumours about this commissioner. The public needs clarification on the multiple buslicenses operating fore her. The almost 5000 square meter land parcel she took from the trucker mardenboro.i can imagine moses still wants his land back. The block company pays good land rent for this parcel.wat about the involvement in the security company. JR,

Thank you for those words of support and commitment. May this season be an enjoyable one for you and yours. Thank you for the loyalty and help displayed during the past year. The coming year will be even more taxing, but the end in sight is exciting and will give us all that extra boost. Ironically, O. Gibbes had his year in review last night, short clips of his programs. Of course, for William he chose his “famous” one:

“The DP lost in 2006 and will loose again in 2007. Whether you like it or not”

I think that was the program in which he responded to deceased Margareth. He probably beats his head every time he is reminded of that.

    Best regards,

INTRODUCING DEEP THROAT ANTONIO BROWN..ANTONIO, HOW’S THE ATMOS-FEAR AT GEBE LATELY? :)

Once upon a time, there was a St Maartener who went abroad to study. While there, she picked up certain skills, such as video editing, online marketing, and social networking. This St Maartener returned, and spent most of her time on the beaches, and in isolated little areas on the island working on her videography and photography. This female was doing a lot of promotion for the island of St Maarten, but she could not continue to do it as a hobby, so someone sent her to speak to Julian Rollocks, because he worked in parliament as an advisor to Sarah and Erno, the job that she was doing was great, and she should get backing.

Mr Rollocks was approached at his pawn shop, and his assistant was there. He told the St Maartener that he was very interested and what she was doing, and that he wanted her to shoot some stills, put together a video ad, and set up a website. He told her to meet him in parliament.

When she got to parliament she met many colorful characters. Turns out half of the people that worked their were her family, from Dorian York, to Sarah Westin-Williams, to Erno Labega, and of course the hallway monitor Olga Williams.

This St Maartener was treated differently, because for some reason everyone kept assuming that she was an American. She had been in the US for approx. sixteen years, and she had a thick American accent. Because of this accent, the people in parliament had no problems discussing anything in front of her in Dutch and Papiamentu. It was the strangest thing. She’d be sitting there waiting for an appointment, and somebody would be going on and on in Dutch or Papiamentu, about how dumb Olga was, and how annoying that bitch was, how could she leave the Minister stranded at the airport. The blogger/photographer/videographer was verily amused!

Don’t let the accent fool you, she was educated in Dutch: Pondside, Sr Magda, Milton Peters College. Then she switched to the St Maarten Academy, and then headed to college. She has a firm grasp of the Dutch language, better than most locals, because she practices  languages daily with CD’s. The funny part about them speaking papiamentu was that her mom and aunts lived in Curacao for years, so she had a basic understanding of the language. Also, she majored in Spanish and German, She’s studied Portuguese for six years, so she doesn’t  have to KNOW papiamentu fluently.

If you know Portuguese and Dutch, you will understand Papiamentu. Coincidently that’s what she’s been doing all of these years.

So the reason she got so much dirt, was because people assumed that she was an American, and that they could say whatever they wanted to in front of her-sometimes even with the cameras on.

Julian Rollocks was pleased with the way things were going with his websites, and he said that she could definetely use her to work for the upcoming DP campaing ’09 which was about to start for the February elections.

When Jeffrey Richardson found out that she was doing work for Julian Rollocks and the DP, he hired her, but that’s an entire other book. A tome if you will, and it will get published.

It will be called “JEFFREY RICHARDSON YOU BATCRAP, CRAZY MOFO, SELL THE TRUCK, PAY YOUR BILLS AND STOP DODGING HONEST, HARDWORKING ST MAARTENERS”& STOP ASSOCIATING YOURSELF WITH THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE WHEN YOU’RE GIVEN INDIGENOUS PASSES TO EVERYONE, FROM HAITIAN BOAT PEOPLE, TO NATIVE SIHK INDIANS, BORN IN THE PUNJABI PROVINCE, NOW STFU JEFFREY RICHARDSON.

So she’s working for Julian Rollocks, the DP and Jeffrey Richardson, and she started putting together a business plan for Julian Rollocks’s assistant, his brother Cimarron Marlin. Is the plot starting to thicken yet?

Cimarron told her that he has a friend, Antonio Brown who might also need some work done.

Now note people, she doesn’t run behind peoples back ssssssshing, she blogs straight, the people who are running around trying to attack and discredit her, have never had the guts to put it into a written statement-BUT SHE HAS!

She met with Antonio, and he said that he wanted work done for the Union. It was a very strange conversation that started at KFC and ended up in parliament. By the time they got to parliament, it wasn’t about the union anymore, it was about a “hit”. He wanted Brooks out of GEBE!

Before I continue, let me say that Antonio Brown is brilliant, never underestimate his intelligence, which is what most idiots such as William Marlin has done.

Antonio Brown has a brilliant mind, but zero spine and that’s why he needed the geek. She had blogged about GEBE and how horrible the service was. The reason he wanted to speak in Parliament was becaue he did not want Cimarron to know what his true intentions for the blogger was. They discussed setup and strategy in Parliament. They then arranged to meet on the pier for a down payment, but Cimarron was never supposed to know. At this time, she doesn’t know that Antonio Brown is approaching her under the implicit ORDERS of Julian Rollocks. Julian Rollocks, had his brother introduce her to Antonio Brown, to do more of JULIAN’S dirty work.

Have you figured it out yet? It’s a very complex plot. So neither the blogger, nor Cimarron was aware that the work she was doing was basically more work for Julian Rollocks. But Rollocks likes to maintain many degrees of separation from his dirty work. An example would that he sent Denicio Brison and Eldridge Van Putten to smear the bloggers name later on, after his scandal broke. Another example would be the hit put out on Maria Buncamper, via the blogger via Antonio Brown. When he tried to bribe his brother, he had his other brothers name on the check……etcetcetc

The whole Marietje/Toentje thing is puzzling to some, but it’s quite simple. Maria Buncamper had dissed Julian Rollocks. Julian continued to smile with her, which is his usual m.o. but he wanted to get her back (he has a weird points and scoring system). He wanted to get her back, but he could not be associated with the hit so he sent Antonio Brown, who paid her, for the job. And they said the reason for the hit was because of what she had done to Laveist, but that’s another story.

And no, the blogger does not regret the job, because part of her job description is being an online sniper who takes niggaz out.

EVERYONE KNOWS IT! EVERYONE! AND SHE’S REALLY GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES.

So are you still with us? So far Antonio has paid for a hit on Brooks, and Marietje…..but there’s tons to come….

Antonio Brown, as per their agreement paid the deposit on the original STMAARTENNEWS.COM. You do remember the original blog don’t you?

yeah Antonio paid down pon dat, but he couldn’t maintain payments due to Rollocks, but that’s another book.

On the day that Antonio Brown met with the blogger to begin the initial phase of stmaartennews.com she was on the boardwalk shooting video of the storm damage. Mind you her cameras remained on during their whole conversation, up until he went to the cash machine, to get the cash for the down payment. It’s at this time, he tells her that basically Theo Heyliger is the main target. He wants to get Brooks, but he really wants Theo. He claimed that the only way to get rid of Brooks was to get rid of his main ally Theo Heyliger.

Are we still there people? See before you can judge this blogger, you need to judge the situation, and remember that she was put into this situation by the politicians, it’s not the other way around.

So the guy who was a candidate on the DP slate, was the guy who paid for the hits on Theo, Marietje and even Sarah and Olga, and the entire DP/UP party.

That’s right folks! This blogger had NEVER met or heard of Stuart Johnson, but she could blog that there was “something” about Stewie, and that’s how Antonio earned his name “deepthroat”. Well he got the nickname for many reasons. “Deepthroat”  was the name of the confidential source who leaked the Watergate scandal. “Deepthroat” is also one of the top ten best selling porn movies off all times. He was called deepthroat because the smear would start in Julian Rollock’s vocal cord but come out Antonio Browns mouth.

This blogger is a very, very perceptive person-even with a bottle of Heineken in her hand, and their was something very OFF about the relationship between Antonio and Julian. Very, very strange………………

    HI COMMISH,
ELECTION IS ON, AND ELECTION FEVER IS QUICKLY SETTING IN.
    SOME RECOMMENDATIONS AND IDEAS:

    -STOP GOVERNING AND START CAMPAGNING.
DONT SPEND MORE THAN 4 HOURS A DAY IN OFFICE, UNLESS ITS TIME SPENT SEEING THE PUBLIC.

-IMAGE IS NOW EVERYTHING.SHOWING OF CONCERN FOR THE VARIOUS ISSUES AND GROUPS.MINGLE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

-IF POSSIBLE(FORM LIST) APPOINT CANDIDATES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN ORDER FOR PUBLIC TO START ALLIGNING THEMSELVES WITH THEIR CANDIDATE AND FOR THE ORDERING OF POLITICAL MATERIAL.ELECTION PERIOD VERY SHORT, WHICH IS GOOD FOR GOVT AND BAD FOR OPPOSITION PRESENTLY.

-DOOR TO DOOR CAMPAGNING MUST START FULL SWING THIS WEEK.
RAMONA AND MYSELF ALLREADY STARTED. RESPONSE IS OK, BUT SOME THINGS  MUST BE DONE POST HASTE. RAMONA IS AWARE……

-VARIOUS TEAMS OF PEOPLE MUST BE APROACHED FOR CAMPAGNING IN THE VARIOUS DISTRICTS.AND I WILL HELP TRAIN THESE PEOPLE FOR ELECTION DAY WITH THE SPOT, FLUSH AND MOVE SYSTEM.
-HEADQUATERS MUST BE OPENED  BY MID  OF FEBRUARY, SO THAT PUBLIC CAN VISIT.

-RESERVATION MUST BE MADE FOR(CAR RENTALS) BEST TV/RADIO/ NEWSPAPER ADS, AND SPOTS ON THE ISLAND FOR POSTER FOR THE LEADER.LARGE ONE IN SIMPSONBAY, COLEBAY GOING FRENCH SIDE, ONE COMING IN PHILIPSBURG, AND ONE GOING TO FRENCH QUARTER.

-2 OR 3 PEOPLE MUST DAILY MONITOR RADIO/TV PROGRAMS/ NEWS IN THE MEDIA AND MUST BE ABLE TO RESPOND IMMEDIATELY(STEWART). OFFSET ALL NEGATIVE CRITIQUE QUICK.

    CAMPAGNE STRATEGY:
OVERALL STRATEGY MUST FOCUS ON: DID WE PERFORM FOR YOU? YES OR NO?
EXPLAINE OVER AND OVER :WHAT IS GOVTS JOB?ALL PROJECTS MUST BE HIGHLIGHTED.
SXM’S FUTURE NEEDS EVERYONE, EVEN THE OPPOSITION HAVE SOME GOOD PEOPLE. HELP US BUILD SXM.

——-COMMISH, I THINK I GOT IT ——PREACH UNITY FOR A STRONG ST,MAARTEN—————
WE CAN FIGHT EACHOTHER IN THE NEXT ELECTION, BUT NOW UNITED WE STAND AS ONE ST.MAARTEN.SXM NEED US ALL RIGHT NOW. ITS DIFFICULT FOR OPPOSITION TO FIGHT A CALL FOR UNITY.
     PERSONALY:
YOU MUST PORTRAY LOTS OF LEADERSHIP AND STAY ABOVE THE FRAY, AND THE PRICIPLES OF OLD DP,SXM WAS BUILT BY ALL WHO CAME. UNITY BUILT SXM AND UNITY WILL MOVE US FORWARD. NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE FROM. —–OPPOSITION STOP PREACHING DIVISION.

YOU MUST STAY ABOVE THE FRAY. YOU ARE LEADING A COUNTRY(PRIME MINISTER)

    IN CLOSING,
GOT A CALL FROM ROY LYNCH(PPA). THEY WERE TOLD RAMONA AND MYSELF HAVE ALLREADY GONE OUT IN BELVEDERE AND UNION FARM. THEY ARE GETTING BUSY, BUT FEELING THE HEAT, THE SERIOUSNES. WE MUST PUT ON THE PRESSURE AND KEEP IT UP.

WE MUST GRADE THE ROAD ETC IN UNION FARM, AND START THE PAVING SOON.(DOLLISON KNOWS
ORGANISATION OF ELECTIONDAY(MIKE FERRIER-AN ORGANISER- AND OTHERS) MUST GET STARTED  MONDAY, IF NOT BEFORE WITH THIS INTRICATE EXERCISE BV,ERNO LABEGA.

Reflections on Separate Status, “Me Too Politics”,  the “Valley of the Shadow of Silliness” and other themes

    By: P. Denicio Brison, B.Sc., LL.M.

    November 2006

Congratulations to the DP party… It is not without some amusement that we have watched the National Alliance join the DP’s Youth Wing as Junior Partner, Chief Cheerleader and vicious attack dog of the Sint Maarten Democratic Party and its intrepid leader Sarah Wescott-Williams.  That is the folly of playing “Me Too Politics.”   With their ringing endorsement the DP party can now lead us into Separate Status, with Sarah as Prime Minister… brilliant DP, simply brilliant…

Crown me King of Upper Prince’s Quarter, Emperor of Backstreet or Prime Minister of Country St. Maarten, all lofty titles, but devoid of any real meaning… The Dutch must be shaking their heads in disbelief at the island council’s non-debate of the “slotakkoord” during which they descended into the Valley of the Shadow of Sillines, in their delusional orgy celebrating the humiliation meted out to them.  If they had known they could have gotten away with so much they should have demanded even more from St.  Maarten… It must have reminded them of the Indian Chief who sold them Manhattan for US$20 and a bag of beads, proudly showing of his trinkets to skeptical tribe members, all the while insisting on what a terrific bargain he’d struck…

And the real winner is… the banks.  If they continue to play their cards right, they will walk away with the billions plus interest they recklessly loaned the Antillian Government over the years.   They correctly calculated that Holland cannot afford the economic collapse of the Antilles… the thought of hordes of black, destitute Antillians washing up on their shores sent shivers down their spines and had them running for their checkbooks…  Ronald Reagan explained it this way to the U.S. Congress, worried about runaway deficits:  “Don’t worry about the deficit.  The deficit is big enough to take care of itself!”

Any one stumbling across the slotakkoord years from now can be forgiven if they were to surmise that they had just found a capitulation treaty.  This document reads like the terms and conditions of surrender imposed by a victorious nation on a country it has just vanquished.

As Curacao goes, so goes St.  Maarten?  All indications are that the Curacao political establishment will not roll over and play dead at the emasculation of its autonomy.  If this document were to be rejected by Curacao, where does that leave St.  Maarten?

Separate Status as stepping stone to…?  There is this idea floating in from across the Big Pond which holds that if Holland does a good job of supervising St. Maarten (and maybe Curacao) the citizens should consider giving them a vote of confidence and opting to become a… Dutch Community, just like Saba and Statia and Bonaire.

All of which brings me to my final observation.  For the past 40 years St.  Maarten has built an economy that is second to none in the Caribbean.  People from over a 100 nations have given us a huge vote of confidence by choosing to live and invest here.  All this was achieved, not because of, but in spite of, the Dutch.  But, if you don’t believe in yourself you have no other choice but to believe in, and depend on others.

LEOPOLD DEAR, HIS NAME IS “DICK”…..WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?

    OPEN LETTER TO MINISTER DICK

DO NOT GIVE AMNESTY WITHOUT GURANTEES FOR OUR SURVIVAL AS ST.MARTIN PEOPLE

According to recent information in the local media, it is reported that you will be visiting the island of St. Maarten from January 21 -25.

It is understood that during this time, you will be meeting with the Executive Council to discuss among others, a proposal setting criteria which will allow for un-documented persons to be legalized.

While there is a particular Commissioner in the Executive Council whose loyalty, for ‘speculated’ reasons seem to lie with immigrants rather than with St.Martiners, we are certain that you are very well aware of the extremely emotional sentiments the mere utterance of any form of amnesty of illegal immigrants evokes among the already frustrated native St. Martiners on the island.

It is like lighting a match in the vapor of gasoline.

We can assure you Mr. Dick, that the ‘ emotional and physical carrying-capacity’ of St. Martin people to even deal with the existing large numbers of non-Antilleans is stretched right up to the ‘breaking-point’.

We are extremely concerned that, for political or any other opportunistic reason, some form of ‘disguised’ amnesty of illegal immigrants is due to take place WITHOUT guarantees for the native St. Martin people to be number one in their own country or to even survive as a people.

The SNBF has formulated a MARSHALL PLAN concept, in which among others, a solution is offered to ‘neutralize’ the socio-economic and political impact of the large numbers of immigrants by among others, granting native St. Martiners and Antilleans a special and privileged ‘status’ in their own country.

In other words, in this system, regardless the numbers of immigrants, the native people will always be in control of their own country, which should be the highest responsibility for any self-respecting country anyhow.

This concept will contribute towards the elimination of the socio-economical in-balance between natives and ‘expats’, which in turn can go a long way eliminating the ‘ticking social time-bomb’ the island has become in reality.

We are prepared to share this concept with you, which will offer you a broader ‘arsenal of creative options’ to solve the explosive consequences of un-controlled immigration.

It is therefore hoped that you will do the sensible thing for now.

That is NOT to  rush into any ‘regulation’ of the residency of any illegal person, pending such a system can be studied, worked out and implemented which will prevent St. Martiners from becoming the victims of genocide by substitution.

The MARSHALL PLAN offers that ‘balance’.

It should be very clear that, adding even more foreigners into the already very un-balanced socio-economic and political ‘equation’ WITHOUT first protecting the people of the land, surmounts to a blatant betrayal of St. Martin people.

In addition the responsibility for the consequences of such an atrocity will those who could have made the difference and they will eventually be held accountable.

Needless to emphasize that we of the SNBF/L’Esprit de Concordia, will not be able, nor willing to accept and co-operate with such ‘onslaught’ on our own people.

For this reason, we are planning an extensive information campaign on the MARSHALL PLAN, not only on the island, but if necessary in the region, in the Netherlands and at the UN and at other fora as well.

Hoping to have discharged ourselves of our civic duties by offering you a proposal that has the potential to prevent social calamities, we look forward to your response.

On behalf of the Board of the SNBF/ Association L’Esprit de Concordia,

    Drs. Leopold JAMES

Blacks and homosexuals: Brothers in Arms!

By: P. Denicio Brison, Bsc. LL.M.

Some what bemused I observed the St. Maarten Council of Churches rush to the defense of Minister Leeflang in her quixotic quest against homosexual marriage.  In 2007 the High Court in Holland settled this matter once and for all.  The arguments against registering a homosexual marriage, (performed in Holland,)  in Aruba were firmly rejected, not once, but four times.  Once in First Instance, then in appeal.  The Solicitor General of the Kingdom in his advice to the High Court in Holland recommended rejection of the Aruban appeal.  The High Court then rejected the appeal, all of Aruba’s pleadings about cultural differences notwithstanding.  Leeflang surely knows this.  That is why her objections must be seen for what they are:  A political stunt, highlighting the fundamental dishonesty which religion and politics share.    If you want to be part of the Kingdom, you must accept homosexual marriages performed in another part of the Kingdom is the attitude of the High Court.  This is not unlike the situation in the U.S. where states which at present do not allow homosexual marriage are faced with the dilemma of how to treat homosexual marriages performed in states where it is allowed.

Blacks and homosexuals both belong to a class of citizen who grapple with social acceptance.  It is still within recent memory for example, that miscegenation (marriage between black and white) was unlawful in many areas in the U.S.  Here in the Antilles, the thought of a black Lt. Governor would have been considered ludicrous, if not impossible, a mere fifty years ago.  Religion was used to justify and support slavery for hundreds of years.  Too many evils of the past and present were/are perpetrated in the name of religion.   Think of the inquisition, in which hundreds of thousands were burned alive at the stake, with priests chanting and praying for their souls, or the wholesale slaughter of millions and millions of Indians by bible toting Christians.  The racist regime in South Africa, was also deeply religious and used it to justify their inhumanity.  The Klu Klux Klan reveled in religious regalia, the flaming cross being their signature mode of expression.  The Mormons, who we can observe diligently recruiting in our community, for a long time held that blacks were “beasts of the field”, and not worthy of membership.   We should therefore tread carefully with respect to the current debate over homosexual marriage.  Religion has been proven too often to be wrong in the past on social issues.  If history is our guide, this will most probably be the case with homosexual marriage.  It simply flies in the face of the undeniable historical trend towards more and greater personal freedom, across the line, not to believe that one day homosexuals too will be emancipated.  Think of the freedom we enjoy today to belong to any religion we wish, join unions, the Black franchise (allowing blacks to vote and hold public office – Think Obama ) women’s suffrage (allowing women the same).  Sure, all change is unsettling.  Dr. Hillary Beckles  writes that many whites left Barbados, at independence, disgusted at the thought of living in a country with a black Prime Minister.  Blacks have been some of the biggest beneficiaries of this trend towards greater personal freedom.  To the churches I therefore say:  Get used to it!  To black folk I say:  as beneficiaries of the historical trend towards greater personal freedom, please do not be so uncharitable towards others who long for the same social acceptance you aspire to.  Using the very same religion, which was used to exclude and marginalize us for so long, to now marginalize and exclude homosexuals makes us look so dumb!

Finally, about the fundamental dishonesty shared by religion and politics:  Both rely on “pie in the sky” promises to attain their goals.  Think of the political slogan, “a chicken in every pot” or the religious promise of heaven.  Islamic jihadists are sent on suicide missions convinced that they will end up in heaven.  The fundamental dishonesty lies in the fact that their religious leaders know full well that once safely dead, they can never return to reproach them if they end up in hell instead of heaven!

    HI ERIKA,
-ISSUING OF THE COMMERCIAL BANKING LICENSE CAN TAKE ONE TO THREE MONTHS, DEPENDING ON THE BACKGROUND SEARCH. THERE MUST BE A BACKGROUND SEARCH DONE ON THE PERSON(S) IN WHOSE NAME THE SHARES WILL BE TRANSFERED.
-IF THE AMMENDMENT IS DENIED, ANOTHER PERSON’ s NAME WILL HAVE TO BE PUT FORWARD. ONCE THE PERSON(s) ARE FOUND TO HAVE A CLEAN BACKGROUND, THE LICENSE WILL BE ISSUED, AFTER THE FLS5.000.000,- IS DEPOSITED.

-IF IT IS COMPLETELY DENIED(WHICH I DOUBT), THE LICENSE WILL HAVE TO BE USED AS IS.
THIS IS WHY I RECOMMEND: START WITH THIS LICENSE, BUILD A WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CENTRAL BANK, AFTER WHICH YOU CAN REQUEST THE OTHER LICENSE.

-IF IT WILL MAKE THE CLIENT MORE COMFORTABLE, WE CAN PROBABLY ARRANGE THAT 30% OF PURCHASE PRICE BE PUT IN A INTREST BEARING ACCOUNT UNTILL THE COMMERCIAL LICENSE IS ISSUED,THEN THE TO BE RELEASED.

LET ME SPEAK TO YOU BEFORE RESPONDING TO THE CLIENT. I JUST ARRIVED IN MIAMI.I WILL CALL LATER.

    MEDIA RELEASE

    Wednesday, January 25, 2006

SAPP Leader endorses the Democratic Party and Sarah Wescot-Williams

PHILIPSBURG – Leader of the Serious Alternatives Peoples Party (SAPP) Julian Rollocks, last Sunday during his weekly radio program, “Strictly Business,” broadcast on Radio Station PJD-2, came out publicly during an interview with Leader of the Democratic Party (DP) Sarah Wescot-Williams endorsing the DP party and its leader for the upcoming January 27 parliamentary polls.

“My endorsement of Sarah Wescot-Williams is based on her persistence and dedication to St. Maarten and its people in seeing that our nation achieves Country Status.   She has done an excellent job, and we are on the verge of getting separate status.  I believe we must keep her there in this election and I am calling on the public to give their confidence and support to Sarah Wescot-Williams.  The process is going in the right direction,” Rollocks stated.

Rollocks program on Sunday with guest Wescott-Williams touched upon a number of issues such as her background and involvement in politics and her civil servant career of approximately 30-years.

Wescot-Williams also touched on the allegations of blackmail made by the other parties; and the role of the current Antillean Minister of Constitutional & Interior Affairs Richard Gibson with respect to the constitutional process.

“I commend Richard Gibson on doing an excellent job in constitutional affairs, I must also acknowledge that he is also a good business man,” Rollocks pointed out.

Wescot-Williams also elaborated on the contributions of the Democratic Party to the process of St. Maarten becoming an autonomous country by giving a timeline of very important events that took place such as the referendums of Curacao, Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba.

A number of Central Government issues as well as issues related to the Country Status for St. Maarten were discussed such as the judicial system, the Dutch nationality, Central Bank and currency, Gebe, Winair, Central Government employee’s salaries and pensions, and the role of students studying abroad with respect to the Country St. Maarten.

The Leader of the DP went in-depth on the Central Bank issue where she stated that St. Maarten is prepared to work with the other islands in this area where everyone has equal representation.

The DP leader emphatically stated with respect to the Central Government employees that no one will go backwards with what they have achieved and worked hard for over the years.

Through this means I would once again like to thank you for the opportunity of working with you and the Democratic Party, and express my enthousiasm for the upcoming elections. It is great to see when people of good will put aside their differences for a common good. We achieved our goal, WE won the elections.

Commish, when i originaly came on board in January 2006, i expressed my willingnes to contribute and the financial challenges which were at hand.
Since then several proposals were on the table, of which one is still going through the administration for approval.
As you know for the lasr 4 months , January to April, i dropped everything else and made THE campagne a fulltime job.

In the closing of this period, i propose a renumeration of 4 months in accordance with the present contract.

Do also consider the following proposal:
Recently miss Ramona Thomas posed the folowing question to me:”What role do i see myself playing in the commisioners’s office, when we win this election”.My response was I would like to be advisor/ consultant to the the commisioner.

With this letter i am officialy aproaching you with a proposal to play a similar advisor/consulting role in the coming 16 months, leading up to elections 2008. The retainer in the  original proposal, as brought forward by Miss K.C. Forsythe-Labega would be agreeable as this is  in keeping with other consultants which work for government( see enclosed proposal). If necessary the goals, methods and objectives can be ammended to the task at hand.

Considering the importance of the coming elections, the amount of work and intensity of the work i am looking forward to a meeting with miss R.Thomas you and myself, in the course of May month in order for us to chart the way forward.

Finaly, comissioner I believe its important for us to formalise this working agreement in order for some others within the party not in any way feel threatened by my participation in the various political activities.

Commish, COUNTRY SINT.MAARTEN,is going to need all of us. I am here, I am willing and able to make my contribution.

In closing i am looking forward to our meeting to conclude this agreement so that we can start working on the main agenda.

    Sincerly,

THE SOAP OPERA THAT WENT ON BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE CLAUDE WATHEY WREATH LAYING

    Dear DP Board:

I added the email addresses which I took off the list Ramona sent us and corrected Lourdes’ cell number.

Now that we all have each other’s contact information, the work can start in earnest!

First order of business: On Friday July 24th there will be the annual wreath laying ceremony honoring the late Dr. Claude Wathey. The ceremony is not too long and planned from 9 AM to 9:30 AM. If you read the Herald on Monday, you saw that Brenda Wathey ( Secretary of the Dr. A.C. Wathey Foundation for Political Awareness) announced the ceremony. The second part of the article was dedicated to Theo. So by doing this they (the new party) are showing their hand in that they will try to steal the DP’s “thunder” whenever they can. The DP has initiated this event in 1999 and since then organized this ceremony every year.
In consultation with our Party Leader, a Press Release was made up today and sent to all the media houses (see attached). We know that Theo and his family will be there and it is important that as many DP supporters are on hand, to make an impact with our red shirts. It would be great if we can have in attendance 30 or more DP members (DRESSED IN RED SHIRTS OR BLOUSES so everyone knows that DP is in the house).

Secondly: although it is extremely late notice (and I DO apologize, I was off island most of last week through yesterday, Monday 7/20), I wonder if I can ask for us to convene our first Board meeting on Thursday July 23rd. I was hoping for us to be able to get together just after work, so either 5:30, 6:00 or 6:30 PM and I suggest as 1st choice the conference room at NAPA on the Orange Grove Road in Cole Bay, or as 2nd choice, the DP faction office next to the Police Station in Philipsburg.

Of course if this is too short a notice, or you have already committed yourself to something else, I understand and would then like to suggest Saturday morning, say 10:00 AM at NAPA in Cole Bay. However if Thursday evening is possible, we can discuss Friday morning’s wreath laying ceremony, which can become a bit awkward, to say the least!

If at all possible, can everyone get back to me by latest tomorrow afternoon?

    Thanks much!

HOW LONG WILL MICHAEL FERRIER “STICK WITH SARAH”, AND HER LYING, UNDERHANDED BULLSH…?

    Going forward

[Thank you fellow members, ladies and gentlemen.]

First allow me to accept the results of the election of this new board and my person as president of the Democratic Party of St. Maarten. Secondly I would like to sincerely thank Immediate Past President Frank Arnell and his outgoing board for their voluntary time and efforts on behalf of and for the party.

To become President of an institution that was called into life 55 years ago by the late, great PERCY CLEMENTE LABEGA and first led by the father of modern-day St. Maarten, the late great Dr. ALBERT CLAUDIUS WATHEY and thereafter by our very own unselfish, relentless, untiring, witty, smart, caring SARAH WESCOT-WILLIAMS, IS a great honor!

Now, how do we go forward? How will this party return to leadership? What has to be done?

Most importantly, what can Mike Ferrier and this new board do?

Those who know me and those who know of me are hopefully not surprised that I have chosen to take on this challenge, for I believe in a God above (He don’t like “ugly”), I believe in St. Maarten (this is without a doubt one of the best places on earth), I believe in our people ( ALL our people, black, white, red, yellow and everything in between), I believe in this Democratic Party, I believe in its Leader Island Council Member Sarah Wescot-Williams, and I believe firmly the best is yet to come!

I choose to look at the glass being half full and not half empty and most importantly, I believe that those who do good and put the needs of the many before the needs of a few (or before their own personal needs), will be rewarded with success that can be shared broadly and fairly.

That has been my life experience and it is THAT philosophy that I bring to the presidency of this party.

I intend to learn from yesterday, work for today and as the President of the United States, Mr Barack Obama has said so many times now, fulfill the hope of tomorrow.

Let me break it down for you.

If we do not look back ever so briefly and see where we came from, we will have no direction of where we ought to be going and how to move ahead. The question as to the way forward must begin with honest introspection by the leadership of this party. When I was asked to make myself available for the presidency of the Democratic Party, I looked back and particularly at the last two years. Honesty dictates that we call a spade a spade. The party has not been served well by a few individuals and as a result, the people of St.Maarten have not been served, primarily because the party allowed those individuals to place themselves before the party, before the people, before St.Maarten.

By doing so, our party has allowed the Government and the leadership of our island to be high-jacked by our opposition and a few infidels. Mind you, the DP did just about everything right in the last island election campaign, where (according to information obtained) we were outspent by the opposition by a margin of more than 3 to 1. It was the most difficult uphill battle since our legendary win in 1999. And we thank all 6,639 DP voters for that! The opposition has YET to win an island election outright!

Let me be perfectly blunt and clear: This new Board will work for a renewed DP party where people, whether candidates or board, identify with the DP party and not people who put themselves before the greater good. The selfish will not get our support. It is time to show by our deeds as a party that we mean what we say when we claim “Country before Self”. It cannot and will not be just an empty slogan; it is a promise, a promise that has to be kept by the entire Democratic Party, board, leadership and members alike.

To go forward, this party needs to consider what relationship we want with the public, and most importantly, how can that relationship be attained? Selfishness has no place in that relationship.

As a board we must avoid the usual political blah-blah-blah and instead work with whomever we pick as candidates to present a strong, coherent, fact-based platform. This is critical if we are to re-secure the trust and support of the voters of this island. In my opinion, the only way for success going forward is for this party to achieve what it publicly sets out to do.

No more complacency and rampant individualism and egotism. That was yesterday and it has no place in the DP of today or the DP of tomorrow.

So what do I suggest we do?

First, we need to review our performance as a party for the last 2 ½ terms of office on both central and local government level. What did we achieve, what did we fail to do? We need to review our party membership and our candidates as well. Where there was achievement, it needs to be recognized and followed. And where success was missing, there too, there must be a critical evaluation and action taken to avoid it happening again.

Furthermore, it is time to recommit ourselves to the voter, the people of St.Maarten. We need to evaluate the state of affairs of the electorate as well as the general society at large. What is actually happening in our community, our economy, and our society?

Do we really understand the needs and the complexity of the people we serve?  Equally important, we need to understand how the voters perceive the DP as a party.

In short, we need to be REAL. People of this island have real concerns, real problems, real needs and real desires. The DP needs to provide real answers, and where solutions cannot meet expectations, the DP needs to be honest about what can and cannot be achieved and why. WE SIMPLY WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO SATISFY ALL, but we MUST strive to satisfy as many as we can, and especially the ones in the greatest needs. But let us not forget that nothing comes for nothing. And when it APPEARS to be that way, there is usually a story of corruption, nepotism, underhandedness, personal wheeling & dealing or some other shady situation behind it all.

We need to articulate goals and objectives (what, why, how and when) for the island based on a solid foundation (facts and figures), more importantly, we need to identify the team (candidates and party members) and the characteristics to achieve the objectives.

For the future, the leadership of the party will be decisive and emphatic regarding the principles and philosophy driving the DP party. There must be a break with the past in terms of our candidates and the management of this party. Whether based on perception or fact, the party can no longer be viewed as simply a vehicle to achieve individual political, person or financial objectives.

The Democratic Party exists to achieve a greater good for the people of this island. That should be the goal of any political party, but in any case, it will again be the goal of the DP.

The focus for board will be on:

    • Integrity
    • Capability

    *     Commonality of message

    *     Projection of leadership

    *     Inclusiveness

    *     Consistency

For political candidates which we will present on the DP slate, we will strive to attract only persons who bring these and other positive attributes and strengths to the party’s table.

As the president, I will seek to have the Board of the party work in concert with the candidates toward achievement of party objectives. Party objectives will be directly tied to addressing the needs of the voter and the realities of St.Maarten.  Ideally there should be a clear division between board and political candidates to avoid conflicts of interest as well as responsibility overload.

That must be the ultimate goal; however, we have a lot of work ahead, a short time to achieve it and few shoulders to put under it. I prefer a balanced approach, the separation of responsibilities, but for now I recognize the need for “all hands on deck”.

I therefore call on those of you who share this vision for a new way forward, those of you with the will, the dedication, the integrity and the selflessness to join the team. Take the pledge to the DP party to work on the areas I have briefly outlined.

There are some out there who are “hedging their bets”: waiting to pick a side once the dust settles. There are others who, at the first sign of challenge, seek cover. There are those who watch things happen, there are those who wonder what happened and then there are those who make things happen. The DP will put together a political team capable of public service, whose skills, experience and integrity are unquestioned and who are can make things happen. Those are the people who need to answer this call. If you want to postulate yourself ONLY to make sure “you going to get YOUR share” of what is left, save yourself and us the trouble and embarrassment, for we will expose you ourselves, before the opposition has a chance to do so.

Time for watching and wondering is over. The DP needs to get to work. I intend to do just that and I hope you are all with me! Long live the Democratic Party of St. Maarten and God bless SXM!

    Dear All,

This article is the exact thing that is wrong with our organization. How can this article be placed in the newspapers when the issue at hand has not been handled by the organization and decided upon by the Executive Council. I have yet to see a professional advice from the organization (including P&O ) on this matter. After reading the article there is even mention of someone within the department being identified as a replacement for the Interim Head. How was this arrived at? Did we advertise the apparent vacancy? Were the procedures followed? Are we going to allow the departments to be run like this? Where does the interference into the professional running of the organization begin and especially end?

I also interestingly enough read that efforts are being made to notify MR. Boasman, by whom? Certainly not the organization.

I hope that this matter is duly addressed because it makes no sense trying to professionalize the organization (however challenging a job it may be) only to have this become the modus operandi…it is simply not done.

With regard to LL, I have not seen some-one so hell bent on self-destruction. The matter of work permits is too controversial on both sides of the fence,  for him to come out unscathed, while going after RB’s head. A decision taken last week during my absence. I warned him against doing  it in this fashion, repeated my position in EXCO of this morning, but the proverbial sh—is already out of the horse.

    Dear Comed,

Thanks for your reaction. Was trying to get hold of you on the phone to talk to you.

First, I would like to express my sympathy to SXM Government, people, and the Holiday family, got the shocking news. In the meantime, I contacted the son Sylvester (one of S4-students) to extend support and encourage him to continue to walk tall. Just last week he participated in a debate at Erasmus University. I was proud of him and the only other St. Maarten student, Ernst Smit, who proudly and intelligently held their own in a full room of mainly Curacao students. Mito Croes and Alwin Toppenberg were present and admired us; said that we (st. maarteners) had that fire that Arubans had long ago. Also the Wereld Omroep was very impressed with especially Ernst Smith. I felt like a proud mom.

May I assure you again, that I really hate bothering you with a matter that in my opinion could have been solved internally long time ago. But, since John Leerdam has been bragging that he put his wife on S4 board, and recruitment agencies have been approached with the intention to recruit a new director per 1 april 2008 and all suggestions of other candidates for the Board, including St. Maarteners are being shelved, I thought I had to request your involvement to at least request Brenda to approach the persons I proposed to serve on the Board asap. It is very worrisome and illegal to have one person on the board who acts as president, treasurer and secretary. It is imperative that a treasurer be appointed urgently. I think that once this happens, the assumed crisis will be more than 50% solved. With the appointment of Brenda Brooks and Calvin, the crisis can be totally solved as they can look after the interests of st. maarten and its students whether I am the director or not and whether or not Brenda remains and puts her friends on the Board.

Also it is important to halt the recruitment agencies until the budget is approved, 15.000 euros have been put on the budget for recruitment agency. (vriendjespolitiek!)

The impression was given by Brenda and Peter that the government of St. Maarten agreed with them to appoint a new director per 1 april 2008 and contract a recruitment agency.

    Re: M. Brooks

. Comed, I am fully aware that there are people (cowards) who hide behind the frock of those bigger than them and so create animosity between people. It has been happening to me also here at S4. Staff and students are told of certain decisions that supposedly were taken by me and that I know nothing off. Consequence, persons get upset with me and I do not always have the time not the energy to go around rectifying the lies.

In the same vein, MBrooks seems to be pretty upset with you and sees this as another sign that you don’t like her. She indicated that when she was on holidays in sxm in december, the Director approached her to mediate in the conflict between the Board and me. She was surprised since she was not aware of a conflict, and was interested to do so, but just before returning to the Netherlands she was told by Head A.O., that her name was given to you, but that you preferred to contract an agency. Her reaction: While she could have done the mediation for free, you prefer to contract an agency that would have to be paid.

MBrooks heard for the first time of a problem at S4 at the Dept of Education in sxm. As a matter of fact, since I always involve her in S4 activities, I asked her if she was not interested in joining the Board and she declined stating she will help look for persons. She did and when she contacted Brenda with names for the Board, was told that Board is working on profiles.

I spoke to Comm MBM about 2 different settings in which St. Maarten was not painted favourably. Regrettably, I did not tape any of these meetings, but in future will do my utmost to tape lectures etc. I generally only take notes.

Last Saturday, I attended a lecture organised by PPAAA (Organisations for Antillean politicians in the Netherlands), delivered by CU member, Cynthia Ortega-Martijn, who was part of the parliamentary delegation, that included Brinkman. Although she gave a pretty good overview of the constitutional developments, there were some statements that were qestionable, for example: Since I was born in aruba, I would need a visa to enter the new st. Maarten. I asked her to repeat this several times and she was cocksure about this.

St. Maarten will not get Separate Status if the crime situation as is described in WOCD report is not cleaned up. At that point in time, another Curacao politician stated that will never happen as St. Maarten politicians are tied to the maffia and cannot let go. According to her she had lived in st. maarten and knew what she was talking about. At that time, I took the floor and explained that Justice, Immigration and Police were Central Government departments that had neglected. Martijn then indicated that 15 marechaussee have been sent to SXM, upon which Chong (2nd Gevmin) said that they too will get corrupt as has happened in the past.

    Martijn Ortega also:

She never knew that St. Maarten hated Curacao that much. That this became clear on the trip.

I do not think this lecture and discussion was recorded by the organisation. Will still ask.

As far as very negative statements by John Leerdam are concerned regarding the status aparte of sxm, this incident took place in 2006 during his campaign. I will see who organised the debate and if I can still get the tape. (I had heard from students when I arrived here that he speaks very negatively about st. maarten in the media and I confronted him about this, and he denied this, but I had been able to experience his disrespect for sxm first hand)

At the debate, after I asked if the PvdA will continue the policy of VVD that at least had respected the will of the people, he really put down sxm and sxm politicians, stating how he has to help sxm politicians when they are here, for they do not know what they want and that they were not interested in the cause of status aparte or in the poor people of the island, but more in who will become Prime Minister and Ministers of the new country. He then turned to Mavis and said that he was not talking about her party.

it is known here in the Netherlands among Antilleans and Antillean politicians that Leerdam is not trustworthy and speaks with several tongues. Apparently, upon return of the parliamentary delegation Brinkman had a shouting match with John Leerdam accusing him of being 2-faced since he would have provided Brinkman with negative info on the islands and afterwards did as if he was not aware or even criticised Brinkman.

Will also see if that was documented. if so, will send info on that too.

I understand that you have been invited to speak at the Recruitment Days (Passaat) in May.

I would like to propose that we organise a meeting with the students or a lecture for st. maarteners in holland to give information about the new st. maarten. I think it is important.

Kindly let me know if you think it is a good idea. The meeting of Marietje and the students was highly appreciated during her visit

Thanks for the follow up re Calvin and Angelique. Really need the assistance for more reasons than one.

    BE BLESSED

    Linda

    Dear Linda,

I have taken good note of your 3 emails and do concur that the situation at/around S4 is not a healthy one, to say the least. I don’t want to get in the “who say, who didn’t”, but I need to state that the issue regarding M. Brooks being approached and then dropped is totally unknown to me. Given your emails, I am more convinced that some neutral person, if not to mediate, need to give the SXM government some direction in this whole matter. It is getting out of hand and fast.

Commissioner MBM has also told me of her telephone conversation with you and I was quite interested in the forum in which SXM allegedly was painted black. Do you know if any recording was made of this, video or audio? Could I get a copy?

I will follow up on your request for Calvin and Angelique to visit.

    Stay well.

    Regards,

    Comm. SWW

Subject: Update S4 Board (3) New Director

    Dear Comed,

The subject indicated above requires your urgent attention. I regret the length of the email, but felt the need to provide background information.

After the request by the EXCO to the Board to send an evaluation of my functioning, several discussion were held with Brenda, Peter and myself, particularly with P. In those talks he assured me that once my contract with government is expired, s4 board will employ me for a few years. We even discussed that this would allow me to take care of my youngest daughter who choose to study in USA.
At the time, I was very certain that P with whom I had a good relationship for years, meant well and was looking out for my best interest

In April 2007, the board sent a rather nice letter/evaluation about my functioning to the EXCO just before Peter left for holidays. One day before he leff he again reassured me that I should not worry since S4 Board will employ me. At the time it was not known whether my 2-year contract would be renewed by SXM.

At the end of June, I travelled to sxm to do the orientation course for the new students and upon my return on July 10th, 2007 I collapsed and ended up in the hospital. In other words, I did not see/speak to P. for almost 6 months.

In october, P. visited the office and indicated that he and Brenda had met outside of the office and had made some decisions.I noticed a totally different attitude; neither did he express support or sympathy for me. He indicated he was informed by Brenda of my illness. He stated that:
    1) He and Brenda had decided to ask the other 2 Board members to resign. Franklin Wilson in Saba too will be asked to resign. I pointed that a board of only 2 persons is illegal.
I indicated that officially the Board should inform the Government of SXM of my illness, which has not yet been done. He answered that since I am on sxm government pay-roll I should inform the Government of St. Maarten myself.
    2) He, Brenda and me will be going on a working trip to St. Maarten in november.
Although I indicated that I was not yet well — was only allowed to work 4 hours a day – and would rather have the trip postponed, he said he and Brenda wanted to be there for St. Maarten’s Day.
    3) With the EXCO of St. Maarten he and Brenda was going to discuss the pressure that S4 office undergoes when information comes late to Holland from SXM and the need for a better communcation between S4 and SXM.

I also expressed my concern regarding the functioning of the office and indicated that the office should have gotten support during my absence. Mr. Sorton did his best within his capacities. The outcry and complaints of the students were tremendous. please note that the complaint in the papers was initially not meant for me, but the article was twisted – not by the students – to include me. .

I was surprised to hear that Peter had spoken to you about my replacement, since I had been speaking off support for the office and even compared my situation to that of Magda Rafael who was also ill and her Board got support for the office in the person of Jacques Veeris.

Just before the trip to SXM, I learnt from Peter for the first time that he and Brenda had concerns about the change of personnel at S4. I gave several reasons for that including, the fact that S4 does not have a personnel policy and that the Board needed to approve the CAO Welzijn asap. Also on more than one ocassion the board had advised to let someone go, when i was still in doubt.
No meetings were held with me prior to the visit. Sorton was instructed to deposit in Brenda’s account funds for a laptop that she supposedly purchased in connection with the trip and that she keeps with her.

It was not until I got to SXM, that I learnt that the board was not happy with my functioning with respect to thandling personnel. At that time I also learnt that the Board was going to be recruiting a new director.

Upon return to the Netherlands Molenaar dropped in at the office. Then I found out that – unknown to me – he had requested Hiro for copy of my salary slip. When I asked him what was the reason, he said that he needed to know what to pay new Director. He also mentioned that the Commissioners had given him the green light to appoint a non-St. Maartener as S4 Director.

While he complimented me for the good job I am doing with students and the great network I had build up to assist S4, he indicated that I had a flaw since I could not get around with staff. He gave me the impression that several persons in sxm also agreed with him on this.
Because of this, he was bringing a new Director at 5000 euro a month as per April 1. He would have to understudy me for some 10 months!!! to get the knowledge I have. I could then assist S4 with P.R. towards parents and students, since he saw that I was excellent in that.
He also said he discussed my health with his daughter and that she indicated that it is certain that I will not be able to get a job again due to past illness.
I was shocked and speechless. I had sleepless nights, as I saw this entire episiode as a sign of betrayal and very unethical. Had to remind myself not to stress myself too much.

Van der plas was instructed by P. to budget 5000 euro for monthly salary for new Director (initially it was supposed to be a colleague at inspectorate) as of April 2008 as well as 30.000 euro for a recruitment agency owned by Brenda’s friend.. When he was told that he would have to justify the 5000 euro for a Director of a small foundation, the 5000 was dropped to 4000 with the intention that the person will get other secondary benefits.

In the meantime, two Antillean recruitment agencies were asked to submit proposals to recruit a Director as per Arpil 1, 2008. One of the agencies visited the office with Brenda (her friend) during my absence, where they talked to the staff about my functioning. (Highly unethical!)

A situation with 2 directors at the same foundation for 10 months may create a problem that could have farreaching consequences.
Now already, I am facing some insurbordination from Sorton as a result of his daily communication with Brenda and him being more inclined to listen to her than to me.
In addition, under these circumstances I will definitely not train anyone for 10 months. (Not mijn zuster de negerin)

Kindly note that i have been advised to contract a lawyer, which I hate to do since that would mean that i would be taking S4 to court, which could lead to S4 having to compensate me with funds meant for students. For me too, having to get a lawyer means additional stress and extra expenses. But with the manner in which matters are going right now, I would have no other option.

In order to avoid a further escallation of this situation, I wanted to update you on the matter and propose that you have someone contact Brenda and ask her discontinue with the recruitment agency since the liquidity budget is not yet approved.

Hope to have informed you sufficiently,

    Linda

THE MELEE SWEET! GREG AND OLIVIER ARRINDELL, IN THE MATRIX TOO? WA YO HARASIN DA PEEPLE DEM FAH? LMAO!

    Dear Mr. Greg ARRINDELL,

Your kind attention and possible your co-operation in the following would be highly appreciated.
For some time, Mr. Olivier ARRINDELL, your adopted nephew has been following my every moves and has even intruded my personal sphere, making my people very un-comfortable to say the least
    .
Yesterday, this gentleman called me on the cellular of my wife, which I never gave him.
He used extremely foul and threatening language.
Imagine if my wife herself had answered her own phone.

This now is a young man, who seizes every opportunity to promote himself as the future political leader of immigrants on St. Maarten and who is reportedly in the process of postulating himself on the list of a well known party on the island.

Allow me to make it clear that I as a senior- citizen and native St. Martiner who had the privilege to have taught thousands of St. Martin children, do not intend to accept this type of ‘imported behavior’ from your nephew and that I will not be intimidated.

Clearly, certain immigrants are in the process of transforming St.Martin into the same type of violent societies they fled and which are in constant state of revolt.

needless to state what will happen to our island, if we allow it to go down the road of Haiti.

Meanwhile, I intend to contact all the relevant authorities, including the prosecutors-offices to lodge a complaint against this individual in order for him to be warned of any possible consequences for him and those who encourage him as well.

For the record, let it be known that whatever might happen in the future, this gentleman and his companions should be considered prime suspects.

Since you know him very well, I kindly but urgently request you to advise him to behave according to the norms, values, laws and lifestyle of the people of this country.

    Drs. Leopold JAMES

to be forwarded to all relevant stakeholders.

HI THEO! ABOUT THAT LAND DEAL IN COLE BAY…HOW LEGITIMATE WAS THAT?

    Hi Theo,

I hope that you are having a very relaxed and enjoyable weekend.
As I have informed you, I have been asked by ny familymembers to represent
them in the process of the sale and transfer of properties owned by the
family located the Cole Bay Hill and to do so at the highest possible
    sales price.
To this end I have been in contact with several potential buyers/developers.
At this moment thee are two potential buyers who have indicated serious
    interest to purchase our properties.
As I have expressed to you, I found it most appropiate to first discuss
with you, in representation of the Island Government, the possible purchase
by Government of at least two lots which make up part of the properties
in question. Yesterday I received by mail the appraisal report made by Mr.
Ron Daal of ICE of the properties mentioned here above.
I have taken note of the estimared market and auction values mentioned in
    this report.
I have noticed that there is quite a disparity between these figures and
the prices offered by the two mentioned potential buyers/developers.
After having consulted with my familymembers they have all instructed me
to proceed with the negotiations with the two potential buyers/developers.
In connection herewith Theo I would highly appreciate your kind cooperation
to ensure that Government will provide its full cooperation for my family
    to
proceed with the sale of the properties in question and at the same token
ensure that the properties can subsequently be developed, taking into account
    their full potential.
Theo I would like to express my sincere gratitude and apreciation for the
way you approached the issue of the sale of the land of family.
I really have the highest regard and the deepest of respect for the professional
way in which you discussed this matter openly and constructively with me.
Theo, due to the time factor involved here which has been imposed by my familymembers
and also by the potential buyers/developers I would appreciate a early response
on my mail so that I can inform aformentioned in the course of next week
    God Spare Life.
All the best and keep good.

    Best regards,

    Ralph

    P.s.

Theo I am copying this mail to Mrs Sarah Wescott-Williams as well as to Mr.
Kurt Ruan as to faciliate any possible communication in this case.

TELL THE TRUTH SARAH….THE EMAILS ARE REAL. OUR GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN TELLING THE PEOPLE THAT THE EMAILS ARE FAKE!THEY ARE NOT!

The government’s dilemma, is that everyone of these emails are authentic,

    and they know it.

They know it, because when they check their sent boxes, they see the exact same emails that are being uploaded to this site.

They tried to call prosecutor as a bluff, but I want to speak to the prosecutor.

But not this prosecutor……a totally independent one from the Netherlands,

one who has no ties, and has not been bought by the sxm government.

I believe the prosecutor is afraid to touch this case, or at least the government is afraid,

because what they’re going to have to do is bring in IT Specialist, who’s only job will be to verify

that these accounts were not hacked, and that the emails were not tampered with.

Like I’ve said on Facebook, the names of certain children and spouses of these individuals were removed,

because they are mentioned, but not public figures.

All the government has to do, is make a statement to the press.

Come out, and let the press know whether my emails match theirs exactly.

Rollocks has acknowledged that I access his accounts,

with his authorization of course…when I did gigs for him

The St Maarten Government has gone to the lowest denominator voters, to spread the message that the emails are fake…. :)

EVERYONE IN THESE EMAILS FROM ROOI, TO HOLIDAY, TO THE EX GOV, LOYOLA, SARAH, EUNICE,MIREYA, WILLIAM MARLIN, THEO, STUART JOHNSON, GREG RICHARDSON, ALSTON LOURENS……………..

EVERYONE IN THESE EMAILS KNOW THAT THEY ARE THE REAL DEAL HOLYFIELD.

SARAH NEEDS TO MAKE A PUBLIC STATEMENT ABOUT THESE EMAILS

AFTER ALL SHE’S IN THEM, AND SHE IS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR “LEADER”.
